Maintenance and calibration of U*B*M measurement systems

Our technicians are experienced dealing with optical measuring systems series Laser Focus, Microfocus, Telefocus and UBR20x. We perform the calibration in accordance with the specifications of the former manufacturer. After a successful calibration, you will get a certificate. The standard used allows for tracing the results to national standards. We also offer support concerning your hard- or software.

Repair and upgrade service for U*B*M measurement systems

Many building blocks of the system are repairable, or can be replaced. We have different replacement components in stock, including motor and sensor controllers, as well as U*B*M compatible PCs. Unfortunately only certain defects of the sensors (LaserFocus, MicroFocus, TeleFocus) are repairable. Give us a call, we will check your sensor.

In case of a sensor failure, we can offer you one of or sensors AF16, KF3, KF3/Tele or C1 to upgrade your system. Together with the sensor, you receive a driver DLL. After copying this DLL in your system's directory and installation of the sensor, you can use the standard software with minimal changes (note: applies to the win16 software only, no support for either DOS nor win32). The mechanical modifications depend on the measurement system and sensor (usually a new z stage, and/or new fixture plates), we are upgrading your system on demand.

We are also offering a complete upgrade service for your system, all outdated components are replaced by contemporary products. The upgrade set includes a contemporary PC, the Windows^®-XP compatible 32bit software Inspector, a new motor controller, as well as a sensor of choice. The microscope system may be preserved. Both motor and sensor controller are situated in a desktop case, no PC plug-in cards are required. After the upgrade, your system is nearly identical with our Hyperion system. The savings, compared to a new Hyperion system, are up to 70%, especially on large systems.

This is a 200 by 200mm system, which was upgraded by an autofocus sensor AF16, motor controller, PC, and the Inspector software. The customer has integrated custom hardware (air pressure controller, rotary stage, video system), and is running the system extensively using the autoscan table. Measurement targets are SiN membranes.

This system is based on Dover air bearing stages, 150 x 150mm. Like the system above, we have upgraded the system with an autofocus sensor AF16, motor controller, PC, and the Inspector software. Motor-, sensor and air pressure controller are integrated into a 19" rack.

Commercial Systems

We have upgraded this 200 x 200mm system with a KF3 confocal sensor, motor controller, PC, Inspector, and a frame grabber card. The camera system was preserved on customer's request.

This is an upgrade of a Polaris system with an AF16 autofocus sensor. The customer still uses the 16bit software UBSoft. Upgrade to the 32bit software Inspector   would be inexpensive here.

Development and integration of sensor technology for metrology applications

We design and manufacture our sensor technology in-house. Therefore, we can offer OEM modifications to the sensors, development of specialized sensors to match your specifications is possible.

Integration of sensors into OEM appliances

We are offering a hard- and software solution into your OEM environment, including mechanical integration. Depending on the customer's requirements, the measurement task can be coordinated and evaluated by the Inspector software. We are also providing a sensor driver DLL, simplifying integration into your software environment.

Measurement and evaluation services

We are offering measurement and evaluation services based on hourly charge. No matter of a single, or series measurements. Take advantage of the true experience of a sensor's manufacturer.
